Stack them, or wear one or two at a time! How fun are these? Riki Schumacher shows you how to make a darling hammered bangle, from a heavy gauge wire. Layer them up with a dozen bangles or so! You can wire them up with treasures from your stash like keys, buttons, pearls and gems, or make charms from scratch!
Join her in making your own hand made charms to dangle on your hand made bangles. You will begin with the very basics by cutting, sawing, bending and drilling some sheet metals. You’ll be working in brass, copper and nickel. You will learn to use a disc cutter as well as cut out shapes, add texture, make a darling teensy box, add a touch of color, stamp words and numbers, ball up wire, punch out a window, layer metals with spacers, rivet screws and eyelets and so much more! Riki will even show you how to lace two circles together for a fabulous multi-layered piece.
Making these adorable little charms are so much fun. Riki will also show you how you could add these darlings to a fabulous hand made charm necklace, if you want to make one to match the bangles. This workshop is for all levels, and everyone will learn new tips and techniques. Throw on a peasant top, dig out those bell bottoms, stack on those bangles and uncover that gypsy girl you know you have in you. Your friends will all want them too!
