The adminpanel is very user-friendly and you can add global settings or local settings (per slide) to each layer or sublayer. Change delay times, easing types, durations and much more with the WYSIWYG editor!

How to mix and match layouts and footers

Just go to your Admin dashboard and look for the ‘Mikmag’ admin beneath the tab ‘Appearance’. Then choose the tab ‘Layouts’ and select the layouts for your special pages and select a matching footer. You are able to define the layout and matching footer for your Search page, Archive page, 404 page, Author page, Tag page and BuddyPress page.

COLORS

Choose your favourite colors for headings, menus, paragraphs and more

How to change Mikmags colors

Just go to your Admin dashboard and look for the ‘Mikmag’ admin beneath the tab ‘Appearance’. Then choose the tab ‘Colors’ and start customizing your colors for headings, menus and footer. At the tab ‘Other’ you’ll find a lot of other options to change the colors of your Mikmag WordPress theme.

FONTS

All Google Fonts and future fonts Included

Mikmag Magazine WordPress theme contains all available Googlefonts (500). You can choose one of the predefined fonts, or enter a custom font name from the Google Web Fonts service.

How to change your typography

Go to your Admin dashboard and look for the ‘Mikmag’ admin beneath the tab ‘Appearance’. Then choose the tab ‘Typography’. At the tab ‘Fonts’ you can change the font for menus, headings and paragraphs. Next to your font selector you’ll see a preview right away. Besides changing the fonts you can change the sizes for your headings (1-6) at the tab ‘Heading sizes’. At the tab ‘Menu sizes’ you can change the font size for your main menu, main sub menu and footer menu. And last but not least. At the tab ‘Other sizes’ you can change the font size for paragraphs, sidebar headers, footer and copyright.

Every page and post page comes (besides the standard WordPress options) with built-in short codes (M). The Mikmag short code generator contains many categories with short codes including description for buttons, columns, dividers, galleries, lists, notifications, quotes, tabs etc.

At the tab ‘Mikmag options’ on a page or post you can find special options for pages and posts, such as options for different sliders, widget areas (which allows you to place a widget next to the slider), widget sidebar, Content color scheme, Background image, and Custom content, which allows you to place content in a separate block above the actual content block.

Categories; use this page to define options for individual categories.

Colors; use this page to customize the theme’s colors (headings, menus, footer and other options)
Color schemes; use this page to define color schemes for separate posts and pages
Copyright; use this page to customize the footer’s copyright message.
General; use this page to set up your general theme options (settings, images, miscellaneous)
Layouts; use this page to define the layouts of special pages.
Sidebars; use this page to assign widgets to sidebars in order to use them in your page layouts.
Sliders; use this page to build sliders to be used elsewhere.
Sociables; use this page to enter your social media profile names, or to define custom social media links.
