Carla Trujillo is a mixed media artist living in the Midwest. She has a B.S. degree in Construction Management and has studied printmaking for over twenty-five years. Through the years her talents have evolved to include mixed media art.
She currently is focused on mixed media art dolls and assemblages. Carla gives new life and identity to found objects and materials such as wood, wire, fiber and clay through weaving, sewing and cold connections.
Her inspiration comes from the collaboration of these materials which are transformed into one-of-a-kind pieces of art work.
Carla is a native of New Mexico currently living in the greater Cincinnati area with her family. She has several articles published in Art Quilting Studio Magazine. Her art work can be found in local galleries, juried art shows, and on-line at Indiemade.
